Mr. Duffy received his BSN and his Masters of Jurisprudence in Health Law from Loyola University of Chicago. Bill's background is in perioperative nursing. His perioperative career included the roles of staff nurse, manager, director and vice president. Mr. Duffy is a CNOR (1988). Bill is active in AORN. He recently served on the Board of Directors and he is a Past President of AORN (2004-2005). During his tenure he led the association's effort to eliminate wrong site surgery.

Marian McCann Kleinman is based in Los Angeles, where she is originally from, and where she attended and completed her diploma in nursing at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center School of Nursing. She spent the majority of her career in Minnesota where she completed her BSN at the University of Saint Catherine, while working for large health care systems as staff nurse, laser specialist, director of perioperative services, outpatient care centers, emergency departments, practice management, ambulatory surgery in center and in business development and strategy. Her MBA was completed at the University of Hawaii Manoa Shidler School of Business while working as executive director of bone and joint services and perioperative services for Hawaii's largest health care system. Currently, Marian is the secretary and treasurer of the CCI Board of directors where she has served for the past 5 years and working as a consultant specializing in team development and survey readiness. She and her husband are avid road cyclists and raise funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. They enjoy spending time with their family, near and far.

Sidney Hoff is a registered nurse and Clinical Representative with CONMED who has worked in the operating room since 2013. Her career in healthcare was initiated working as a radiology technologist, but soon after she threw herself into nursing school. Sidney then started a position as a circulating nurse with a specialization in Neuro, ENT, and Head/Neck oncology while also serving a variety of other surgical teams. However, it wasn't until 2021 when she discovered the dangers of surgical smoke lingering within operating rooms. Since then, she has been serving in an educational role with CONMED, where she advocates and assists healthcare facilities in achieving surgical smoke-free environments.
